Job: Senior Data QA Analyst 
Location: Woodbridge, NJ

Overture Partners' client has an immediate need for a Senior Data QA Analyst. To secure an interview for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Must Haves:
  • Strong analytical mindset and hands-on QA experience in data environments
  • Expert in SQL; familiar with Snowflake, AWS (esp. S3), ETL, DBT, and large-scale reporting
  • Background in data modeling, QA workflows, and working across tech stacks like Oracle, DB2, and Informatica
  • Comfortable guiding team members and driving QA best practices
  • Must be able to commute to NJ 
What the Client Needs you to Do:
We’re looking for a highly technical and communicative Senior Data QA Analyst to join a fast-paced data team. This is not a development role but requires deep backend knowledge, a strong QA mindset, and expert-level SQL skills.
  • Lead QA efforts for backend data testing, validation, and issue resolution
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries across large datasets
  • Translate business and technical specs into test plans and data validation strategies
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business users to ensure data integrity
  • Perform system analysis, data mapping, and end-to-end ETL validation
  • Track QA efforts and issues using Jira; Python for automation is a plus
  • Review data models and test files, ensuring accuracy across systems
  • Support users with reporting and troubleshoot discrepancies using internal tools
