Job Description
Location: Hybrid - At least 50% Remote. Position will require travel and on-site days depending on workload.
Overture Partners’ client has an immediate need for a Deskside Support Engineer. To secure an interview, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Must Haves:
- Hardware/Software troubleshooting
- Strong customer service skills
- Self-motivated/directed
- Knowledgeable on the usage and support of Windows Operating systems and products that run on those platforms.
- Understand the installation of software patches and upgrades.
- Understand the use of remote technology and commands.
What the Client Needs You to Do:
- Engineers performs a full range of computer administration functions with minimal direction and/or technical support.
- Responsible for uninstall, repair, or update software and operating systems.
- Performs advanced troubleshooting and remediation via remote support. Vendor technical liaison functions may be required.
- Troubleshoot and remediate Operating System update failures.
- Remove unsupported or vulnerable software from end users' computers.
- Ensure that all work is documented for future reference.
- Follow quality standards.
- Communicate accurate and useful status updates.
- Attend and participate in team meetings.
