Location: Indianapolis, IN

Overture Partners' client has an immediate need for a DevOps Platform Engineer.  To secure an interview for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Must Haves'
  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a DevOps or Platform Engineer, with a focus on delivery.
  • Strong experience in administering a GitLab instance or similar CI/CD platform, along with experience in administering Kubernetes in any flavor, is required. 
What the Client Needs you to Do:

The role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable and secure Developer tooling platforms using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). This includes maintaining platforms to streamline the development and deployment of critical business workloads. Additionally, administering and fine-tuning Kubernetes instances, along with engineering with Terraform, Ansible, and other IaC tools to high standards with documentation and automated testing, is crucial. Collaboration with application developers is essential to understand their underlying business needs and translate them into technical requirements. The responsibility also includes developing and maintaining documentation and architectural designs for cloud solutions, utilizing DevOps principles and practices to automate deployment, monitoring, and management processes. Implementing security controls and best practices to ensure data protection and compliance, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications, are part of the role. Staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies to provide recommendations for improvement is necessary.
