Overture Partners' client has an immediate need for a IT Business Systems Administrator. To secure an interview for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Must Haves:
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, system administration, and application support
- Proficient in security principles, network infrastructure, and system protocols
- Ability to analyze system performance and conduct root cause analysis
- Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business teams
- Capable of creating and maintaining technical documentation
- Minimum 3 years of ERP administration experience; knowledge of Epicor Kinetic or similar ERP platforms preferred
What the Client Needs you to Do:
The ideal candidate will support and administer an ERP environment with experience implementing code releases and building configuration rules. A key focus of the role is managing user accounts, security settings, version control, and release management. A strong candidate will have hands-on experience with modern ERP platforms. experience with Epicor Kinetic or similar tools like Infor SyteLine or CloudSuite Industrial is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage account creation, user access, and permissions
- Ensure backups and data recovery processes are running effectively
- Perform audits and review system logs for compliance and issue resolution
- Support requests related to data changes and process traceability
- Establish and maintain operational standards to ensure software compatibility and performance
- Act as a lead for end user support and coordinate escalations with third-party vendors
- Serve as the primary contact for change advisory workflows and related protocols
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, system, and network issues
- Schedule and execute system upgrades and transitions from testing to production
- Oversee ERP system performance, configuration, and user training/communication
- Maintain architecture documentation and technical configurations
- Monitor system performance logs and recommend improvements
- Create and schedule automated tasks in accordance with business needs
- Research and implement improvements to optimize current systems and processes
- Manage relationships with third-party integrators and technical partners
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
