Overture Partners' client has an immediate need for a Full Stack Java Developer. To secure an interview for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria: Must Haves:
- 4+ years of full stack development experience, with balanced exposure to frontend and backend technologies.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
- Proficient in front-end technologies: Angular (7+), REACT,JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
- Experience with Node.js, Express.js, and integrating front-end with backend services.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS and PCF.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, including Docker, Jenkins, and Concourse.
Responsibilities: Front-End (50%)
- Design and develop responsive and interactive web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Angular (v7–9) or REACT
- Modernize and refactor legacy UI components, incorporating technologies like Node.js and Express.js.
- Improve user experience by building new UI features and implementing cross-browser compatibility.
- Utilize AJAX and JSON for dynamic page updates and asynchronous server communication.
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI bugs related to performance, design, and functionality.
- Create tools and dashboards that interact with external services (e.g., Splunk) using Angular-based UIs
- Develop and implement RESTful microservices using Spring Boot, with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
- Apply Spring AOP and Spring Actuator to track metrics and manage service health.
- Build integrations with third-party APIs and manage data transfers using REST.
- Use Spring Config Server for centralized configuration management.
- Deploy applications in Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) environments using Docker containers.
- Configure CI/CD pipelines using Concourse and Jenkins for automated deployments.
- Leverage Maven for build automation and dependency management.
- Store and manage files securely using AWS S3, including version control and permission configurations.
- Utilize Splunk for centralized logging and operational visibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
