We are seeking an experienced Manual QA Tester for a 3 to 4-month contract role. This project involves updating a legacy Windows-based application and upgrading the development environment. The ideal candidate will be highly self-sufficient and capable of creating and executing comprehensive test plans with minimal oversight.

- 5+ years of experience in manual QA testing roles
- Strong experience writing and executing test plans independently
- Familiarity with legacy Windows applications and development environments
- Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision
What the Client Needs you to Do:
We are seeking an experienced Manual QA Tester for a 3 to 4-month contract role. This project involves updating a legacy Windows-based application and upgrading the development environment. The ideal candidate will be highly self-sufficient and capable of creating and executing comprehensive test plans with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and execute detailed test plans for regression and functional testing
- Conduct full regression testing as part of a development environment upgrade
- Test changes to a 15-year-old Windows application being updated for VPN access
- Log, track, and report bugs using standard bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure thorough test coverage
- Participate in occasional on-site meetings if needed
