Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst
Location:  Greater Boston Area


Overture Partners' client has an immediate need for a Sr. Business Analyst. To secure an interview for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Must Haves:
  • Lead and conduct business analysis to elicit requirements for IT solutions (e.g., workshops, interviews, observation, JAD sessions) and organize into traceable, testable formats.
  • Analyze current systems to identify improvements and meet business needs (e.g., Data Flow Diagrams, Root Cause Analysis, Business Process Modeling).
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation (e.g., Business Requirements Documents, Use Cases, Feasibility and Gap Analyses).
  • Validate requirements across the software development lifecycle, ensuring systems meet goals; oversee test plans and review results (e.g., ADA, performance, functional).
  • Apply project management standards to track risks and communicate constraints using RAID logs.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction through consistent support and relationship-building.
  • Monitor and respond to support tickets, emails, and calls to resolve issues and questions.
  • Develop technical diagrams using Visio or other tools.
  • Domain knowledge in healthcare is a strong plus.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

This role supports a major healthcare-focused organization that delivers medical and behavioral health care, substance use treatment, long-term services, and nutritional and financial benefits to individuals in need. The organization connects elders, individuals with disabilities, and others with employment opportunities, housing, and supportive services. It also steers youth toward successful paths and supports individuals with developmental disabilities, mental illness, visual or hearing impairments, and more.

Position Overview:

We are seeking to hire a motivated IT Senior Business Analyst to support systems and applications that deliver critical healthcare services to vulnerable populations.

The Money Follows the Person (MFP) Demonstration helps elders and individuals with disabilities transition from facility-based care back into the community. It connects individuals with home- and community-based services (HCBS) to facilitate their move from long-term hospital or nursing facility settings to home-based care.

The Senior Business Analyst will primarily support a program and assist in AWS migration projects in collaboration with Architecture and Release Management teams. Responsibilities include improving IT products and services, analyzing data for business insights, and evaluating technology to meet organizational needs. The role also involves leading business and technical requirements sessions and documenting those requirements for new or existing enterprise systems.

The Senior Business Analyst must possess strong interpersonal skills to serve as a communication bridge between IT and business teams. Responsibilities include planning and documenting user stories, managing product owner expectations, defining testing and training requirements, facilitating release management, supporting change management, and coordinating with helpdesk operations.
