We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Information Officer (CIO) to build and lead the IT organization for a rapidly growing, multi-location company that has expanded through acquisition. This is a unique opportunity to establish the firm’s technology foundation from the ground up, transitioning from a fully outsourced model to a modern, scalable, and secure in-house capability.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in infrastructure, applications, data management, and cybersecurity. This role requires a balance of vision, execution, and leadership—someone who can set direction while driving results.
Key Responsibilities
- Technology Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute an enterprise IT strategy aligned with business goals, driving modernization, scalability, and efficiency.
- Infrastructure & Operations: Assess the current environment and oversee the organization’s design and implementation of secure, reliable systems.
- Data & Applications: Build a cohesive data architecture and reporting framework; manage business applications to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Cybersecurity & Risk Management: Implement and oversee policies to ensure data protection, compliance, and business continuity.
- Team & Vendor Leadership: Build and lead an internal IT team while managing key external vendors and technology partners.
- Digital Transformation: Drive innovation through automation, integration, and process optimization to support continued growth.
Qualifications
- Proven success leading IT strategy and transformation in a growing or multi-entity organization.
- Strong background in infrastructure, systems integration, and data management.
- Experience within financial services or related regulated industries preferred.
- Skilled at managing vendors, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and change management skills.
