Job Overview
Seeking a Senior Application Developer to lead development, maintenance, and enhancement of complex information systems, including laboratory and data applications. Must Haves
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in .NET (VB.Net, C#, .NET Core)
- Strong SQL and relational database expertise (Oracle or SQL Server)
- Experience with Java, XML, SFTP, SOAP, and WebLogic
- Proficiency with TFS, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with BI and reporting tools (SSRS, Jasper)
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
- Proven ability to mentor and support technical teams
What the Client Needs You to Do
Act as a subject matter expert for critical application systems, ensuring stability and performance. Lead coding, integration, and release activities. Collaborate across teams to optimize application functionality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and deploy .NET and Java-based applications
- Develop and maintain data integrations and reports
- Lead code reviews and maintain development standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Prepare and update technical documentation
- Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to team members
- Deliver on-call support for urgent production issues
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field required
- Master’s degree preferred but not mandatory
