Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with deep expertise in the ServiceNow platform to support the design, optimization, and delivery of enterprise business solutions. This role partners with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze requirements, improve business processes, develop reporting solutions, and configure ServiceNow applications that enhance the end-user experience.
The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis skills with hands-on ServiceNow configuration experience and a passion for delivering scalable, user-centered solutions. Candidates with experience across IT Service Management (ITSM), HR Service Delivery, Platform Analytics, and Performance Analytics will be well positioned for success.
Must Haves
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting enterprise applications, preferably ServiceNow.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, HR Service Delivery, Platform Analytics, and Performance Analytics.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
- Hands-on experience configuring ServiceNow forms, lists, workspaces, dashboards, and reports.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience creating reports, dashboards, and executive-level analytics that drive business decisions.
- Ability to facilitate stakeholder meetings and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience supporting testing activities, including test planning, execution, and user acceptance testing.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into scalable ServiceNow solutions and implementation plans.
- Configure and maintain ServiceNow forms, workflows, lists, workspaces, dashboards, reports, and data extracts.
- Design and deliver executive dashboards and analytics that highlight operational trends, key performance indicators, and improvement opportunities.
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend enhancements that improve efficiency, automation, and user experience.
- Develop business process documentation, workflow diagrams, functional specifications, and operational documentation.
- Design application enhancements and new functionality by evaluating business requirements and platform capabilities.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve platform issues including workflow failures, configuration challenges, integration issues, and performance concerns.
- Perform system analysis, configuration, testing, validation, and quality assurance activities.
- Develop test strategies, create user test cases, coordinate user acceptance testing, and validate implementation results.
- Define project milestones, deliverables, and implementation activities while collaborating with project managers and cross-functional teams.
- Provide ongoing recommendations for continuous improvement through business process optimization and platform enhancements.
- Communicate project status, risks, and solution recommendations to business and technical stakeholders.
- Support additional initiatives and special projects as business needs evolve.
