What the Client Needs You to Do
This role supports large-scale cardiology and radiology imaging transitions and ensures dependable operation of critical imaging platforms. You will collaborate with clinical teams, technical staff, and external vendors to maintain system reliability, guide users, and support data integrity across imaging systems. The work directly influences clinical efficiency and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily PACS operations for cardiology and imaging modalities
- Deploy server updates, patches, and related tools across assigned systems
- Administer PACS applications, including upgrades, user support, and training
- Serve as a liaison between imaging support teams and technical engineering groups
- Facilitate onboarding activities for imaging data sharing and viewing platforms
- Monitor worklists, interfaces, and exam queues, and assist with reconciliation tasks
- Oversee DICOM configurations such as AE Titles, ports, and modality settings
- Support project initiatives including migrations, troubleshooting, and cross-functional coordination
- Generate imaging reports and metrics to support operational analysis
- Develop scripts, utilities, or automation solutions to strengthen system performance
- Perform system recovery, escalate issues to vendors when appropriate, and support infrastructure builds
- Assist in equipment procurement, setup, and lifecycle tracking

- Work is 100% onsite during standard business hours
- Multi-year contract role with potential extension based on program needs
- Occasional off-hours support may be required for upgrades or emergencies
- May provide guidance to junior staff but holds no direct supervisory responsibility
- Requires typical physical mobility for an office and clinical environment
- Travel is minimal and limited to local site visits if needed
