We are seeking an experienced Project Manager ServiceNow to lead the strategy, operations, and ongoing enhancement of a large-scale ServiceNow platform. Must Haves
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of project management, technology, or related business experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience leading ServiceNow operations or implementation projects.
- Strong expertise with ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) and platform capabilities.
- Experience developing and managing ServiceNow dashboards, metrics, and reporting.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple enterprise technology initiatives simultaneously.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and drive projects through successful completion.
What the Client Needs You to Do
In this role, you will serve as the primary leader responsible for the ongoing success of the ServiceNow platform. You will collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, and third-party service providers to establish strategic priorities, oversee platform operations, and deliver enhancements that improve service delivery across the organization.
Success in this position requires balancing daily operational support with long-term platform planning while ensuring projects align with enterprise architecture, security standards, governance practices, and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of ServiceNow platform operations, ensuring incidents, problems, and enhancement requests are addressed efficiently.
- Manage the full lifecycle of ServiceNow projects, from discovery and planning through implementation, release management, and post-deployment support.
- Develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for the ServiceNow platform, prioritizing initiatives based on business value and organizational goals.
- Oversee project budgets, software licensing, managed services, and resource planning to ensure successful project delivery.
- Coordinate internal technical resources and external service providers to support platform operations and project execution.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between technology teams, business stakeholders, leadership, and third-party partners.
- Lead governance activities including demand management, prioritization, roadmap planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, risks, and dependencies while proactively identifying mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate new ServiceNow capabilities and recommend enhancements that improve operational efficiency and user experience.
- Ensure platform configurations, enhancements, and implementations comply with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.
- Prepare executive-level project updates, performance reports, and status communications for leadership and business stakeholders.
- Foster strong client relationships by measuring stakeholder satisfaction, gathering feedback, and implementing continuous service improvements.
- Manage vendor relationships, including ServiceNow partners and system integrators, to ensure quality delivery and contractual alignment.
- Provide leadership, direction, and coordination across multiple concurrent initiatives while maintaining a focus on operational excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) or completion of a recognized project management curriculum.
- Experience managing enterprise platform governance, organizational change initiatives, and technology modernization programs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams in fast-paced enterprise environments while driving measurable business outcomes.
