Job Overview

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst or Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join a collaborative technology and quality assurance team supporting business-critical software initiatives. This is an immediate opportunity for an experienced QA professional who can own testing activities across the software development lifecycle while helping advance the use of automation and Generative AI in quality engineering.

Candidates most likely to secure an interview will bring 3–10 years of software testing and/or Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience, strong hands-on test management skills, data-testing capabilities, and practical experience using Generative AI tools to improve QA productivity and coverage.

Must Haves

• 3–10 years of relevant experience in software quality assurance, software testing, and/or the Property & Casualty insurance industry.
• Hands-on experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
• Experience using OpenText Quality Center/ALM (formerly HP ALM) for requirements, test case, defect, and testing lifecycle management.
• Strong data-testing skills, including the ability to write SQL queries and work with XML or comparable structured data formats.
• Practical experience using Generative AI tools to support activities such as test-case creation, test-data development, documentation, scenario generation, or QA productivity.
• Ability to critically review and validate AI-generated testing artifacts for completeness, accuracy, and suitability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to facilitate discussions across technical and business teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities with exceptional attention to detail.

What the Client Needs You to Do

You will help ensure software releases meet established quality expectations by taking ownership of structured testing activities from requirements review through release readiness. The role requires close partnership with developers, business analysts, project managers, UAT stakeholders, and other cross-functional contributors.

Beyond traditional QA execution, you will be expected to identify practical ways to incorporate AI-assisted testing and emerging QA technologies into existing processes. Success means improving test coverage, increasing testing efficiency, identifying defects early, maintaining clear quality reporting, and helping stakeholders make informed release decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, scenarios, and scripts based on functional requirements, technical designs, and project specifications.
• Participate in requirements reviews to identify potential quality issues, testing considerations, and gaps early in the software development lifecycle.
• Define testing strategies and schedules that align with project scope, dependencies, risk, and targeted delivery dates.
• Facilitate test-plan reviews with project managers, business analysts, UAT leads, and other stakeholders to establish alignment before execution.
• Maintain testing documentation within OpenText Quality Center/ALM, including test cases, execution results, defects, requirements traceability, and supporting QA artifacts.
• Create and maintain test data for manual and automated testing, ensuring appropriate coverage of business scenarios and technical conditions.
• Apply Generative AI tools to accelerate test design, generate meaningful scenarios, develop test data, improve documentation, and streamline repetitive QA activities while independently validating generated outputs.
• Identify opportunities for AI-assisted and automated testing that can increase coverage, productivity, consistency, and overall software quality.
• Monitor and communicate quality status throughout testing, including defects, risks, testing progress, and release readiness using established reporting practices.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing relevant test artifacts and data and transferring testing knowledge to participating business users.
