Must Haves
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5–8 years of experience in software development or data analysis
Advanced SQL skills, including query design, testing, and optimization
Proven experience in data mapping, transformation, and structured analysis
Hands-on experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and related methodologies
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Insurance background
Demonstrated capacity to lead projects and direct the work of others
What the Client Needs You to Do
You’ll support the design, testing, and implementation of data-driven solutions for regulatory and compliance reporting. Your analysis will directly impact the quality and accuracy of submissions, audits, and market conduct reports. Working closely with business and IT stakeholders, you’ll help ensure timely delivery, validation, and continuous improvement of reporting processes while mentoring others on the team as the position grows into a leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze, clarify, and translate business and regulatory requirements into functional and technical specifications
Provide accurate work effort estimates and support project planning activities
Create data mapping and transformation documentation for reporting and compliance needs
Collaborate with developers and testers throughout all phases of the SDLC
Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and validation processes to ensure data integrity
Support audits, market conduct reviews, and compliance-related inquiries
Monitor and manage the delivery and quality of assigned submissions and reports
Ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting while maintaining audit-ready documentation
Lead and mentor team members, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
