Job Overview
A senior-level Drupal Full-Stack Developer is needed to support the design, development, and optimization of scalable web applications. This role requires strong expertise across both back-end and front-end Drupal development, along with the ability to translate complex requirements into high-performing, accessible digital solutions. Candidates who demonstrate deep Drupal experience, modern web development skills, and a commitment to accessibility standards will be prioritized for interview consideration.

Must Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or certification in Web Development, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • 6+ years of full-stack web development experience with a strong emphasis on Drupal
  • 4+ years of hands-on Drupal development, including custom module creation and theming
  • Proficiency in PHP, Twig, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience building and maintaining Drupal-based websites, including configuration and content modeling
  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 (Level A and AA)
  • Experience integrating APIs and third-party services using RESTful web services
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and modern development workflows

In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams to design and deliver robust Drupal solutions that meet both technical and business needs. You will play a key role in shaping scalable architecture, ensuring accessibility compliance, and improving overall system performance. Success in this position requires a balance of technical expertise, collaboration, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and design scalable Drupal solutions
  • Develop and maintain Drupal-based websites, including custom modules, themes, and content structures
  • Lead content migration efforts, including data mapping, validation, and transformation processes
  • Build responsive, user-friendly front-end components using modern web technologies
  • Integrate external systems and services through RESTful APIs and web services
  • Configure and manage Drupal site features such as content types, views, menus, workflows, roles, and permissions
  • Ensure all implementations meet accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA)
  • Optimize application performance through caching strategies, code improvements, and scalability enhancements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full technology stack
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, coding standards, and development best practices
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members
  • Stay current with Drupal updates, contributed modules, and emerging web technologies

Additional Information

  • Work environment: Hybrid or remote options may be available depending on project needs
  • Experience working in Linux-based environments using command-line tools is beneficial
  • Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker is preferred
  • Experience with Drupal APIs, configuration management, and deployment workflows is advantageous
  • Knowledge of content migration tools (e.g., Migrate API) and structured content modeling is highly valued
  • Exposure to front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap and JavaScript libraries/frameworks like React or jQuery is a plus
  • Experience working with decoupled or headless Drupal architectures is desirable
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes is preferred
  • Ability to interpret UI/UX designs from tools such as Figma is helpful, though not design-focused
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment are essential
