Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Solutions Architect to define and drive enterprise cloud architecture with a strong focus on AWS, Generative AI, and Machine Learning. This role plays a key part in shaping technical strategy, modernizing platforms, and delivering scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions across the organization. Candidates with deep cloud expertise, strong architectural leadership, and hands-on experience with AI/ML-enabled systems will be prioritized for interview consideration.
Must Haves
- Extensive experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale AWS solutions
- Deep expertise in cloud-native and serverless architectures
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI and Machine Learning platforms in production environments
- Strong background in data architecture, analytics platforms, and data pipelines
- Proven ability to lead architectural strategy and influence technical direction
- Experience integrating on-premises systems with cloud environments
- Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance best practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
What the Client Needs You to Do
This role is responsible for defining cloud architecture standards and leading the design of modern, data-driven, and AI-enabled solutions. You will partner closely with engineering, data, and business stakeholders to ensure architectures align with enterprise goals while remaining scalable, secure, and cost-effective. Success requires both strategic thinking and hands-on technical leadership across complex initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve enterprise AWS architecture strategy aligned with business objectives
- Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native solutions
- Lead architectural decisions for data-intensive, AI/ML-enabled applications
- Drive adoption of cloud, automation, and AI technologies across the organization
- Architect solutions using a broad range of AWS services, including compute, storage, networking, and security
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Design hybrid architectures integrating on-premises platforms with cloud services
- Implement microservices and serverless architectures using AWS-native tools
- Ensure adherence to cloud security standards and architectural best practices
- Establish and oversee CI/CD pipelines and automation using modern DevOps tooling
- Define repository standards, branching strategies, and code quality controls
- Design and implement enterprise data platforms, including data lakes and streaming pipelines
- Partner with data teams to operationalize machine learning and analytics solutions
- Architect and deploy AI/ML and Generative AI workloads using cloud-native services
- Review application designs to ensure alignment with architectural standards
- Produce clear architectural documentation and solution blueprints
- Participate in architectural governance and review forums
- Mentor engineers, architects, and data professionals across delivery teams
- Provide technical leadership from concept through implementation
- Continuously assess existing platforms to identify modernization opportunities
Additional Information
- This role supports large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives
- Experience working within Agile or DevOps delivery models is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and automated deployment practices is beneficial
- Prior exposure to highly regulated or data-intensive industries is a plus
- Advanced certifications in cloud architecture or machine learning are advantageous but not required
