Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to play a critical role in driving enterprise system enhancements and business process improvements. This position requires deep experience in business analysis within complex technology environments, with a strong focus on delivering measurable value through digital and application initiatives. Must Haves
- 15+ years of experience in software development environments with a strong focus on business analysis
- 10+ years of experience within the Property & Casualty insurance domain
- Proven expertise in policy administration, billing, claims, and financial systems
- Hands-on experience with web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager
- Strong understanding of APIs, web services, and data formats (e.g., JSON, XML)
- Experience with tools such as Postman, REST/SOAP services, and SQL-based systems
- Advanced skills in workflow analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience

In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner across business and technology teams to ensure solutions align with organizational goals. You will lead complex analysis efforts, guide project prioritization, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Success in this position requires influencing stakeholders, improving delivery standards, and ensuring that business needs are accurately translated into scalable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current business processes and design optimized future-state workflows
- Create detailed process maps, diagrams, and functional specifications
- Lead requirements elicitation sessions for large-scale or complex initiatives
- Develop and maintain standards, templates, and best practices for business analysis
- Conduct impact assessments for new systems and enhancements
- Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams to support delivery
- Support full project lifecycle activities from initiation through implementation and closure
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to capability development across teams
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and governance frameworks
- Track and evaluate performance metrics to drive process improvements
Additional Information
- This role may involve cross-functional collaboration with distributed teams
- Experience supporting digital platforms and customer-facing applications is highly valued
- Familiarity with third-party data integrations and enterprise systems is expected
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, AAC, CPCU, or similar are preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Visio for process modeling, is required
