Job Overview

We’re hiring a Unified Communications Analyst to support an enterprise migration from legacy Avaya/Centrex services to a new SIP unified communications platform. You’ll help drive the rollout schedule, coordinate vendors and internal teams, and provide expert troubleshooting across both legacy and new environments. To be considered, you should have strong Avaya voice/contact center experience and solid SIP/VoIP fundamentals.

Must Haves

  • Hands-on experience supporting Avaya Communication Manager (CM) and contact center environments
  • Strong SIP/VoIP knowledge and experience supporting migration/upgrade projects
  • Familiarity with Avaya CMS and monitoring call center performance metrics
  • Experience coordinating vendors/carriers (including number porting) and internal install teams
  • Ability to produce implementation estimates and support project scheduling
  • Strong documentation and end-user training skills (Visio a plus)
  • Willingness to travel to sites as needed (including occasional urgent support)

What the Client Needs You to Do

Support an on-time transition to a SIP unified communications platform by aligning teams, resolving complex technical issues, and ensuring users and call center staff are prepared for cutover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support rollout strategy and scheduling for the enterprise upgrade
  • Create time/material estimates for builds and major upgrades
  • Coordinate LECs and other vendors to keep porting and installs on track
  • Provide advanced support for Avaya CM, call center, and CMS during migration
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across legacy and SIP/VoIP platforms
  • Document configurations/procedures and develop training materials
  • Train end users and call center agents on new features
  • Provide input for future enhancements (API experience a plus)
