Job Overview
Our client is seeking a Data Reporting Analyst to support reporting and analytics for enterprise case management and electronic record systems. This role focuses on developing structured reports, translating business reporting needs into technical solutions, and ensuring data accuracy and security across reporting outputs. Candidates who demonstrate strong data analysis skills, experience with reporting tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders will be prioritized for interviews.
Must Haves
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in an IT or data-focused environment
- Hands-on experience querying relational databases and working with structured data
- Experience creating and maintaining technical reports using advanced reporting or BI tools
- Strong understanding of data structures, reporting logic, and analytical concepts
- Experience working with SharePoint and Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to interpret report specification documentation and translate requirements into reporting solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
What the Client Needs You to Do
- Translate business reporting requirements into functional, accurate reports using an advanced report writing platform.
- Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure reporting outputs align with operational needs.
- Deliver reliable reporting solutions that improve data visibility, decision-making, and operational efficiency across business teams.
- Ensure proper implementation of reporting security, documentation standards, and testing procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop reports based on defined reporting specifications using advanced reporting tools within enterprise systems.
- Interpret report specifications and map data elements, including identifying field names, column mappings, and data locations within system interfaces.
- Document report logic, query structure, and configuration details in a clear and organized format.
- Conduct unit testing and validation to ensure report accuracy, performance, and alignment with requirements.
- Work directly with business users and analysts to clarify reporting requirements, refine specifications, and address questions.
- Implement appropriate data security controls within reports, ensuring correct user-level or role-based access to sensitive information.
- Analyze complex data requirements and develop reporting solutions that support operational insights and informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to identify improvements, reporting efficiencies, and best practices.
- Manage multiple reporting tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and timeliness.
- Support ongoing reporting maintenance, updates, and enhancements as system requirements evolve.
