Must Haves

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution

At least 5 years of hands-on development experience supporting UKG Ready

Proven experience building custom reports, dashboards, and system integrations

Strong understanding of HR data structures and end-to-end HR business processes

Experience managing application releases, enhancements, and system changes

Ability to analyze system issues, identify root causes, and deploy sustainable fixes

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation

What the Client Needs You to Do
In this role, you will partner closely with HR Operations and Information Technology teams to ensure the HRIS environment is stable, scalable, and aligned with evolving business needs. You will translate HR requirements into technical solutions, guide system enhancements, and act as a trusted advisor for application functionality. Success in this role requires balancing day-to-day system support with longer-term improvements that strengthen HR operations and reporting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and data integrations within the HRIS platform

Deliver functional system enhancements aligned to HR initiatives and organizational priorities

Serve as the primary technical liaison between HR Operations, IT teams, and external application vendors

Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to access, data accuracy, performance, and configuration

Partner with HR stakeholders to define application release schedules and manage change requests through formal approval processes

Analyze incident trends, identify recurring issues, and ensure corrective actions are implemented and tested

Evaluate new application features and collaborate with HR and IT to determine how enhancements can support current and future workflows

Monitor system performance and recommend continuous improvements to processes and configurations

Manage, update, and close technical tickets assigned to the HRIS function in a timely manner

Test and validate system updates, patches, and enhancements to ensure full functionality and data integrity

Respond to data-related questions and provide reporting support to HR partners as needed

Attend application training sessions and develop clear, user-friendly support documentation

Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution for all in-scope HR applications

Perform additional system-related duties as required to support HR operations
Additional Information
This position operates in a hybrid work environment and requires regular onsite collaboration. The role is expected to be on-site at least three days per week at a designated office location. The HRIS Developer will work cross-functionally with HR Operations and IT partners and may manage small to mid-sized technical projects. Experience with workflow automation tools and collaboration platforms is strongly preferred.
